Bottomline, the more time I have to prepare your body, the higher the conception rates. It’s ideal to start at least three to four months before egg retrieval.

During IVF treatments
Acupuncture helps to increase hormones such as progesterone by balancing certain systems in the body. It supports the development of healthy follicles and uterine lining. Reduces stress levels and aids in emotional wellness. Helps to prevent miscarriage by continuing to heal root problem as well as increase uterine blood flow.During the stimulation phase
At this phase in the IVF process, IVF drugs are introduced into your body creating some changes and chaos. These uncomfortable IVF drug side effects can be alleviated with acupuncture. Simultaneously, acupuncture can also help to improve follicle development and reduce anxiety during this stressful period. At Embryo Transfer
Once the fertilized embryo is ready to be transferred to your uterus, acupuncture is recommended right before the transfer and right after the transfer to help with a successful implantation. Acupuncture can decrease the risk of miscarriage and help support the growth of your new baby.YAY, Congratulations!!!
Dr. Mariana strongly advise getting regular prenatal acupuncture during the first semester of your pregnancy. This will help to strengthen and maintain vital nourishment and progesterone levels needed to support your growing new baby!
